After the 3 levels of government in Germany (federal, state, local) could generate in the first half of 2008 still a surplus of 7 billion euros, it looks like this year is much less well: 17.3 billion Euro is the state in the first half of the Meanies. This means that Germany has reached the half set by the European Union deficit limit of 3 percent of the state budget each year.

FAZIT
Ich halte den deutschen Staat für nahezu bankrott - es sieht zwar nicht so schlimm aus wie in den USA oder in Italien, dennoch benötigen wir schon jetzt einen gigantischen Teil unseres Staatshaushaltes nur um die Zinsen zu bedienen - und dieser Teil ist weit größer als das momentane Staatsdefizit.
