Between
Der Baum nadelt noch nicht. Es war ein schönes Fest. Vorbei.
"We see between the years", it has been promised for two cheek kisses. And now so they are there, these days - over Christmas, New Year's still not there and Epiphany soon.
According to tradition it came to the phrase "between the years" by a constant back and forth between the Romans and the Christians un the beginning of the year in office and the church calendar. And as the 16th Century of the Gregorian calendar was introduced, it was initially at several New Year dates.
Because of the confusion was abandoned on the safe side wins in this period. And actually we know today exactly what the date is never straight.
The days are like cotton wool, smooth and without structure. Best suited for indoor viewing or for moments of happiness associated with the fact that you think you've caught a corner of life that does not really count.
As seniors we rise from the chair occur at the window and look out. It is still light enough, maybe now would be the perfect time for a walk.
the last in the old or the first in the new year.
